Hong Kong Buildings Collectible Series — Island Edition
Made in Hong Kong

About
HUGH Bldgs turns Hong Kong Island’s housing market into a miniature property route, from Wah Fu Estate to Tai Koo Shing.
Each stop becomes a different form of “getting on the ladder,” compressing price, class, urban myth and absurdity into red and green collectible buildings — not an investment, but a strange guide to the dream of ownership.
Some inherit the key.
Others collect the dream.
Property Route

One Random Model
Estate Lot

A public housing memory before redevelopment fully arrives.
Wah Fu carries sea views, community life, relocation anxiety, and urban myth — before the property ladder even begins.
Tong Lau Lot

A tong lau is rebuilt as a memory object.
The added Chinese roof is not a replica of today’s Sai Ying Pun, but a symbol of what urban renewal and gentrification have pushed out of view.
Sky-High Trophy

A luxury tower lifted beyond ordinary reach.
Inspired by the trophy-flat imagination of Conduit Road, this piece turns height, view, price, and market spectacle into a tower rising from the clouds.
Fast Food Shelter

A digital vacancy in the route. No.04 is not a collectible building.
It is a temporary shelter shaped by rent, waiting, and the need for a place to stay.

Deficit Monument

A financial monument turned downward.
This piece turns office value, falling numbers, and market belief into a red architectural warning sign.
Curved Luxury Myth

A luxury myth shaped by curves, views, and feng shui imagination.
The form looks soft, but the hierarchy it represents remains solid.

Nano Home Fantasy

A private flat reduced almost to the size of a bed, yet still sold as a way onto the property ladder.

A private estate large enough to feel like its own city.
This piece turns middle-class order, corporate land, and everyday comfort into a managed urban dream.

Middle-Class Megalot

Amenities
The packaging takes inspiration from toy car boxes, turning each Hong Kong building into a collectible property object — something to own, display, and “get on the ladder” with.
Each piece comes with a dedicated display base and an antique bronze-finished stainless steel plaque. The base acts as both foundation and land lot, while the location and property identity are presented like a miniature deed.

When property becomes a toy, the asset reveals itself:
named, packaged, and overpriced concrete.

Manifesto
HUGH Bldgs compresses Hong Kong’s buildings into a set of collectible architectural art toys. Rather than reproducing the city to scale, each piece turns property prices, location, status, class, and the fantasy of “getting on the ladder” into a toy-like urban sculpture.
In Hong Kong, home ownership is not only a life goal, but a social order shaped by price, location, and birth. Borrowing the language of property boards, collectible tokens, and online title deeds, the series turns the Hong Kong Island skyline into a boxed property fantasy. What is collected here is not only architecture, but the city’s long obsession with owning a place.
